Site Visits Coach Hire

Give a site visit a transport brief that reaches the right entrance at the right point in the programme. Whether your group is visiting a workplace, a development or an operational facility, the host’s visitor arrangements matter as much as the postcode. Bring the meeting point, induction time and collection plan together before confirming the group’s schedule.

Your journey, properly planned

A good group journey starts with the right details. Put your route, passenger numbers and timings in one place.

  1. Your group

Count everyone travelling, including organisers. Tell us about luggage, equipment and any particular travel requirements so we can discuss the right arrangements.

  2. Your route

Add the exact pickup addresses in the order you would like to visit them, followed by your destination. Share any access instructions you already have.

  3. Your timings

Choose a departure time or an arrival deadline. For a return journey, give the collection time and tell us whether you want the coach to wait or return later.

Planning this journey

Provide the full site address and the visitor or coach entrance specified by the host. Give the passenger total, required reporting time and the time the group will be ready after the visit. Include any equipment passengers bring, such as boots, helmets or sample cases, and discuss the actual carrying requirement with our team.

Ask the host where a full-size coach can set down and collect visitors. Share known access restrictions, gate instructions and an on-site contact. Coach access must be discussed for the particular location; the presence of a road or a general visitor car park does not establish that a coach can enter.

Use the estimator for a straightforward journey, or send the complete itinerary as a tailored enquiry. Our team confirms the route, coach access, timings and vehicle availability before booking.

Work from the host’s visitor instructions

A site induction or security check may require the group to arrive before the activity begins. State that reporting time in the enquiry and keep the host’s entry requirements with your own visit information. Distinguish the passenger drop-off from any area where equipment is handled. If visitors walk through the site and finish at another gate, give a separate collection point instead of assuming the coach will follow them. The host and organiser manage site entry, protective equipment and the visit itself; these are not services included by requesting coach hire.

Treat a series of visits as one complete route

For several sites, list each address, the time needed there and any fixed appointment. Mark the stops that are essential and identify where the programme has flexibility. A quick map estimate will not account for assembling visitors, gate checks and boarding at each location. Send a multi-stop or multi-day programme as a tailored enquiry so our team can consider the vehicle movements and driver arrangements. If the host changes the entrance, reporting time or visitor numbers, pass on the revised brief before the journey rather than leaving the driver to discover a different plan on arrival.

Good to know.

A few answers before you set off.

How many people can travel on a coach?

Each coach has up to 53 passenger seats. For larger groups, the estimate builder calculates the additional coaches needed. Tell us about luggage and any particular travel requirements so our team can confirm the arrangements.

How do I get a coach hire estimate?

Use the estimate calculator on this page. Enter your passenger numbers, travel date, pickup points, destination and timings, then choose your journey arrangement. You can save your journey and send an enquiry to our team.

Can we have more than one pickup?

Yes. Add the pickup points in the estimate builder in the order you would like to visit them. The proposed schedule allows boarding time at each pickup. Our team checks the practical arrangements before confirming the journey.

Is the coach booked when I send an enquiry?

Sending an enquiry does not reserve a coach. We email a copy to you and our team, who check coach access, timings and availability before confirming your quote.

Can I save the journey and share it with passengers?

Save your private journey link to return to your plan and follow your enquiry. The calculator also provides a passenger itinerary without prices or contact details. Keep your private journey link for the organiser.

What if my journey needs a different arrangement?

Use the tailored enquiry form in the calculator for a different return route, multiple destinations or a journey it does not cover. Include your full route, dates, passenger numbers and preferred timings so our team can help.
