Your journey, properly planned
A good group journey starts with the right details. Put your route, passenger numbers and timings in one place.
- 01
Your group
Count everyone travelling, including organisers. Tell us about luggage, equipment and any particular travel requirements so we can discuss the right arrangements.
- 02
Your route
Add the exact pickup addresses in the order you would like to visit them, followed by your destination. Share any access instructions you already have.
- 03
Your timings
Choose a departure time or an arrival deadline. For a return journey, give the collection time and tell us whether you want the coach to wait or return later.
Planning this journey
Choose the date, count everyone travelling and identify the first activity with a fixed start time. Give the exact destination, the time your group needs to be there and the time everyone will be ready to board for home. An attraction opening time, a restaurant reservation and a return collection are three different parts of the plan.
If people join from several places, list the pickup addresses in order and the numbers at each. A straightforward route can include up to four pickups in the estimator. For several destinations, an unusual return route or movements during the visit, send the whole programme as a tailored enquiry.
Use the estimator for a straightforward journey, or send the complete itinerary as a tailored enquiry. Our team confirms the route, coach access, timings and vehicle availability before booking.
Build a day out, not a race between stops
Choose the main reason for the trip before adding extras. A lunch stop or a second attraction needs time for arriving, unloading, enjoying the visit and bringing the group together again. Tell us which stops are essential and which could be left out. If you have already bought timed tickets, include the actual admission window in the brief. The coach booking does not include attraction admission or meals. Keeping these arrangements clear makes it easier to agree a route that serves the day rather than a list of places that cannot comfortably fit into it.
Make the homeward meeting point part of the invitation
Share the return meeting point and boarding time before passengers leave the coach. A busy attraction may use a separate coach collection area, so check its instructions rather than assuming the entrance is also the pickup. Nominate one organiser to count the group and pass on any agreed changes. If some passengers will make their own way home, record that in your own list. Tell our team about an evening meal, performance or other commitment that affects the return, instead of treating an extra stop as something to arrange once the day is under way.

Good to know.
A few answers before you set off.
How many people can travel on a coach?
Each coach has up to 53 passenger seats. For larger groups, the estimate builder calculates the additional coaches needed. Tell us about luggage and any particular travel requirements so our team can confirm the arrangements.
How do I get a coach hire estimate?
Use the estimate calculator on this page. Enter your passenger numbers, travel date, pickup points, destination and timings, then choose your journey arrangement. You can save your journey and send an enquiry to our team.
Can we have more than one pickup?
Yes. Add the pickup points in the estimate builder in the order you would like to visit them. The proposed schedule allows boarding time at each pickup. Our team checks the practical arrangements before confirming the journey.
Is the coach booked when I send an enquiry?
Sending an enquiry does not reserve a coach. We email a copy to you and our team, who check coach access, timings and availability before confirming your quote.
Can I save the journey and share it with passengers?
Save your private journey link to return to your plan and follow your enquiry. The calculator also provides a passenger itinerary without prices or contact details. Keep your private journey link for the organiser.
What if my journey needs a different arrangement?
Use the tailored enquiry form in the calculator for a different return route, multiple destinations or a journey it does not cover. Include your full route, dates, passenger numbers and preferred timings so our team can help.
