Enjoy the freedom of travelling solo, with company there when you want it. Return coach travel with reserved seating, two included excursions and four nights in one welcoming hotel keep the practical side simple, leaving you free to enjoy the change of scene.

    Two Lakeland favourites.
    One beautiful day out.

Your included excursion to Grasmere and Keswick brings you into the heart of the Lake District: a landscape of green valleys, dramatic fells and characterful towns.

Grasmere is a village to savour, with stone-built cottages, cosy cafés and a famous connection to William Wordsworth. It is also home to the much-loved Grasmere Gingerbread—a tempting little taste of the Lakes.

In Keswick, browse the town's shops, find a café or head towards nearby Derwentwater for a different perspective on the surrounding fells. It is a wonderful contrast to your seaside base.

A second included excursion takes you to Southport, where the classic pleasures of a coastal resort meet handsome Victorian surroundings.

Stroll along Lord Street, known for its tree-lined boulevard and distinctive verandahs, browse the shops or settle down over coffee. Around the gardens and Marine Lake, there is plenty of space to slow down and enjoy being away.

A day for a little browsing, a little exploring and whatever takes your fancy.

There is free time to enjoy Morecambe itself, too. Follow the promenade, stop for a photograph beside the unmistakable Eric Morecambe statue and take in those wide-open views across the bay.

Perhaps find a favourite café, browse the town or simply enjoy a seat with a view. This is your chance to leave the rush behind, with your hotel close at hand and dinner waiting later.
