IMPORTANT: For European tours, it is required by law that we have the following information:

These must be with us at least 28 days before the tour departs (or at the time of booking if your departure date is within 28 days at the time of booking), or an admin fee of £10pp will be charged. Please note regarding valid passports:

  • The passport must be valid for at least three months after the intended return date

    Your getaway begins
    on the water.

    Board your DFDS cruise ferry in Newcastle and let the journey become part of the fun. Settle into your cabin, explore the ship and watch the coastline slip away as you sail overnight towards the Netherlands.

    Dinner is included on both overnight sailings, so you can enjoy an evening meal as part of your break. Breakfast, drinks and snacks are available to buy from the onboard restaurants, café and shops. Later, enjoy the bars and usual onboard entertainment, or simply wind down before turning in.

    The return sailing gives you another evening at sea to relax and look back through your favourite photos.

    Your cabin is included.
    Prices are based on two people sharing a twin inside cabin with bunk beds, no window and private en-suite facilities. Singles and cabin upgrades are available at a supplement, subject to availability.

    Your three-day escape

    Day 1 · Set sail

    Travel by coach to Newcastle, board your DFDS ferry and enjoy your included dinner before settling in for the overnight crossing to IJmuiden.

    Day 2 · Step into the dream

    Arrive in the Netherlands and continue by coach to Barbie: The Dream Experience in Amsterdam. After your visit, return to the ferry for your included dinner and the overnight sailing home.

    Day 3 · Homeward bound

    Arrive back in Newcastle and rejoin the coach for the journey home, with a camera roll full of colourful memories.
