    Skye, Lewis & Harris.
    One unforgettable
    Scottish journey.

From colourful harbours and sheer island cliffs to ancient stones and the sweeping west coast—discover Scotland at its most captivating.

Five days bring together a full-day Skye excursion, the coastal scenery of Wester Ross and a guided day on Lewis & Harris. Stay for two nights in Gairloch, then cross to Stornoway for two more: a journey with a new view around every bend.

Portree’s colourful harbourfront on the Isle of Skye
Portree, Skye. Island colour, harbour views and time to explore.

    Day 1

    A west-coast
    welcome.

Travel to Gairloch and settle into The Gairloch Hotel for your first two nights. Beside Gairloch Bay, this is a lovely place to begin a holiday shaped by sea lochs, island horizons and Highland scenery.

Enjoy dinner and a comfortable evening before the next day’s Skye adventure.

Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls on Skye’s dramatic coastline
Kilt Rock and its famous waterfall.

    Day 2

    A full day
    on the Isle of Skye.

Travel through unspoilt scenery, looking across the Inner Sound towards Scalpay and Raasay. Skye’s changing landscapes are part of the pleasure: open water, rugged hills and a coastline that invites you to keep looking.

Visit Kilt Rock Waterfall, where Mealt Falls drops towards the sea beside the dramatic cliffs, then continue to Portree for free time. Wander the harbour, browse the town’s shops or pause in a café before returning to Gairloch.

    Day 3

    The coast road.
    Then the open water.

After breakfast, follow a scenic stretch of the north-west coast towards Ullapool. Visit Poolewe, Loch Ewe and Aultbea, continuing through Gruinard Bay, Dundonnell and Braemore—a day of sea lochs, villages and expansive Highland views.

At Ullapool, board the late-afternoon ferry to Stornoway. As the mainland recedes, the holiday takes on a different rhythm. On arrival, continue to the Caladh Inn for two nights in the Outer Hebrides.

With a guide bringing the landscape and island history to life, this is a day to look beyond the view and discover the stories behind it.

    Across the water,
    homeward bound.

Depart Stornoway on the early ferry back to Ullapool, then continue home by coach. A boxed breakfast is provided on departure, ready for the early start.
