    Two extraordinary journeys.
    One exceptional holiday.

A boutique river ship. A privately chartered Swiss panoramic train. And the freedom to savour Europe at a gentler pace.

Our Rhine, Main River Cruise & Swiss Train Journey brings together the quiet luxury of The Nobleman and an Alpine rail experience reserved exclusively for cruise guests. This is a holiday to look forward to for months — and remember for years.

The Nobleman — contemporary Dutch design, made for the river.

A river ship that changes your expectations.

Step aboard and the difference is immediate. Warm textures, considered lighting and yacht-inspired interiors create a wonderfully relaxed sense of occasion. Introduced in November 2025, The Nobleman is a new generation of river ship: contemporary, beautifully finished and refreshingly intimate.

With just 84 cabins and suites, this is a world away from the scale of an ocean liner. Settle into the panoramic lounge, take your drink out onto the sun deck, or simply watch the river scenery unfold. The journey is part of the pleasure, not just the way to your next destination.

Chosen with first-hand confidence. We've been aboard The Nobleman ourselves, and this is a ship we're genuinely excited to share.

A Swiss panoramic train travelling through mountain scenery

    Switzerland.
    Privately chartered.

A full day aboard the Gotthard Express, privately chartered by Veenus exclusively for cruise guests. A specially arranged Swiss panoramic journey — not a standard scheduled train service.

Departing from Basel, the round-trip travels via Lucerne, taking in scenery along Lake Zurich and the historic Gotthard mountain line — a remarkable landscape of spiral tunnels, stone viaducts and Alpine curves.

Enjoy a welcome drink, regional Swiss snacks and wine, with onboard guides sharing the stories behind the views. A dedicated photography carriage has opening windows for photographs without glass reflections.

Privately chartered. Personally memorable. A genuine centrepiece of your VIP Experience.

    Where even the everyday
    feels like an occasion.

A leisurely breakfast before exploring ashore. Coffee and cake as the afternoon slips by. Canapés, a beautifully presented dinner and a drink in the lounge as the light changes over the river.

Full-board cruise dining includes buffet breakfasts, three-course lunches and four-course dinners, with afternoon coffee and cake and evening snacks adding those lovely in-between moments. A premium drinks package during the cruise means you can settle into the holiday rhythm.

Welcome and farewell cocktail receptions bookend your stay, with entertainment on at least three evenings. Sophisticated surroundings, good company and time to enjoy it all — this is the luxury of slowing down.
